REPRINT
The Dendron Historical Society is pleased to announce that
The Comp'ny by H. Temple Crittenden has been reprinted.
This is the third edition of the book. It was orginally published
in 1967 with a second printing in 1976. This is a limited printing.
The books arrived in Dendron on October 7th. The book sells for $35.00
plus $3.50 postage & handling if the book has to be mailed to you.
The Comp'ny is the story of the Surry Lumber Company, the Surry,
Sussex and Southampton Railroad and the Town of Dendron. The Comp'ny operated
from 1885 til 1930. This is the story from beginning to end of the adventure
of the Comp'ny.

These have five sketches by local artisst. There are ten cards (two
of each design).The sketches are of the Dendron Methodist church, Engine
No 2, Presson’s Store, Parker House and Mussel Fork House.
